中文摘要：对谷歌地球在大学海洋相关专业教学中的应用潜力进行了探讨。以“全球典型河流三角洲的目视识别”和“近30年珠江口海岸线动态变化分析”为案例,展示了谷歌地球在海洋类相关专业教学中的应用。结果表明,利用谷歌地球平台进行教学,可以提升大学海洋相关专业学生的区域认知能力的培养效率,从而为学生全面认识海洋打好基础。

外文摘要：This paper mainly discusses the application potential of Google Earth in the teaching of marine-related majors in universities.Firstly,it reviews the origin and basic characteristics of Google Earth;secondly,it analyzes the relationship between Google Earth and marine-related professional teaching;finally,it shows the application of Google Earth in marine related professional teaching with two cases,i.e.,"visual recognition of worldwide typical river deltas"and"dynamic change analysis of coastline in the Pearl River Estuary in the recent 30 years".The results show that using Google Earth Platform for teaching can effectively promote the training efficiency of the regional cognitive ability of university students of marine-related majors,so as to lay a good foundation for students to fully understand the ocean.
