20 498 g·m^-2,550 762 g·a^-1,2 466 g·m^-2·a^-1;其次是红藻门有11种,生物量、固碳量和生产力分别为17 547 g·m^-2,138 194 g·a^-1,1 872 g·m^-2·a^-1;绿藻门有5种,生物量、固碳量和生产力分别为3 064 g·m^-2,4 827 g·a^-1,158 g·m^-2·a^-1。

【Objective】To explore the carbon sequestration and nitrogen and phosphorus absorption potential of macroalgae.【Method】In this study, solid carbon, production and total organic carbon(TOC) of 19 kinds of naturally growing macroalgae with biomass of more than 50 g·m-2 were examined in the intertidal rocky zone in Naozhou Island.Meanwhile the content of inorganic nitrogen and inorganic phosphorus of seawater were monitored from cross-sections and sections which were 4 km from the intertidal rocky zone.【Result】This study included 3 species of Brown Algae with largest biomass 20498 g·m-2, carbon sink 550762 g·a-1 and production 2466 g·m-2·a-1, 11 species of Rhodophyta with biomass 17547 g·m-2, carbon sink 138194 g·a-1 and production 1872 g·m-2·a-1, 5 species of Chlorophyta with minimum biomass 3064 g·m-2, carbon sink 4827 g·a-1 and production 158 g·m-2·a-1.The maximum value of biomass, carbon sink capacity and production all appeared in Bohelan submerged rock least affected by human activity. The TOC was greater than 30% for 12 species of seaweeds, including Caulerpa taxifolia(M.Vahl) C.Agardh, Valonia utricularis(Roth)C.Ag.[Conterva utricularis], Dictyosphaeria cavernosa(Forssk.) Boerg, Corallina sp., Pterocladiella capillacea( Gmelin)Santelices et Hommersand, Asparagopsis taxiformis(Delile), Caulacanthus ustulatus(Mertens) Kütz, Neogoniolithon sp., Amphiroa sp., Sargassum hemiphyllum(Turn.) var.chinensis C.Ag., Colpomenia sinuosa(Mert.ex Roth) and Hizikia fusiforme(Harv.) Setch. The contents of inorganic nitrogen and inorganic phosphorus of seawater in the intertidal rocky zone were between 0.17 mg·L-1 and 0.20 mg·L-1 and between 0.007 mg·L-1 and 0.018 mg·L-1 respectively. The contents of IN and IP in four corresponding stations about 4 km away from the intertidal rocky zone were in the range of 0.18-0.22 mg·L-1, which were higher than that in the reef. The correlation coefficient between biomass of macroalgae and IN and IP in the intertidal rocky zone were-0.248 and-0.155 respectively.【Conclusion】Nineteen species of macroalgae have good growth adaptability, strong carbon sequestration ability and nitrogen and phosphorus absorption in this area.
