外文摘要:This chapter aims to provide a brief introduction to the research progress and applications in the field of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) detection of ocean dynamic processes and bottom topography. The chapter contains the physics of ocean SAR imaging, that is, ocean wave-radar modulation transfer function, SAR image interpretations of submesoscale ocean vortex train, ocean spirals, ocean near-inertial oscillations, estuarine outflow plumes, and the ocean internal waves, as well as SAR detection of three cases of ocean bottom topography. Sections all include theories for SAR imaging and methods for dynamic parameter extraction. ? 2026 Elsevier Inc.
