外文摘要：The rootless complex, the mood of despair and the plight of little mutual understanding confronting modem people have always compelled Wang An-yi to locate her delineated figures in a living situation characterized by melancholy and solitude, but Wang AnTYi, who is filled with human concern, has endeavored to salvage her characters from solitude in many ways. In the end, Wang An-yi has come to realize that solitude is the genuine state of human existence as well as the eternal fate of humankind.
