中文摘要:以非正式学习相关理论为基础,对粤西地区高校英语教师非正式学习的动机与意愿、行为状况、文化与氛围、学校保障以及区域性协作等方面进行了问卷访谈调查,结果表明粤西高校英语教师对非正式学习重要性的认同感较强,但行为状况、文化与氛围状况不容乐观,且学校(院系)为教师非正式学习提供的保障不足。针对以上研究结果,建议英语教师将非正式学习模式日常化,同时高校应为教师非正式学习提供具体保障和政策支撑,高校间尚需加强区域性共同体的合作。

外文摘要:Based on related theories of Informal Learning, this study conducts a survey on the informal learning of the English teachers in the colleges and universities of western Guangdong Province regarding their motivation, behavior, the culture and school polices on teachers’ informal learning, as well as the contribution of teachers’ regional cooperation. The result shows that while teachers’ motivation is high, their actual learning and the culture and school polices still have much room to improve. Based on the findings of this study, it is suggested that English teachers should make informal learning part of daily life, provide stronger policies and better environment needs to be provided by colleges and universities, and regional cooperation should be strengthened among teachers in western Guangdong province.
