中文摘要：正如印刷文化与电视文化的认识论截然不同,“人工”与“智能”的隐喻亦产生全新的认识论,呈现数字文化所包含的不同的人机关系。从“人工”与“智能”的概念出发,文章尝试梳理传播与媒介领域人机关系的三种言说范式:功能主义、中介传播、系统交流。前两种范式在“人工”隐喻下或强调人工智能(AI)技术的工具属性,或延续物质性媒介的视角将其视为一种新技术中介。作为人工智能认识论的系统交流范式,从“智能”隐喻出发,指出人机交互中人工智能的社会性及其“异类智能”的交流者主体位置,人机关系由此转变为异智系统的交流问题。这种“异智系统”的交流过程,既刷新了人的主体性和经验层次,也促进了新社会系统的形成。此种人工智能社会性给我们理解数字时代的新社会与新互动带来挑战。

外文摘要：Just as the epistemologies of print culture and television culture are fundamentally different,the metaphors of"artificial"and"intelligent"generate a new epistemology that unveils the diverse human-machine relationships embedded in digital culture.Starting with the concepts of"artificial"and"intelligent",this paper attempts to sort through three paradigms of human-machine relationships in the fields of communication and media:functionalism,mediated communication,and systems communication paradigm.The first two paradigms,under the"artifi cial"metaphor,either emphasize the instrumental nature of AI technology or continue the perspective of materialist media by viewing it as a new technological intermediary.As an epistemology of artificial intelligence,the systems communication paradigm,based on the"intelligent"metaphor,points to the social dimension of AI in human-machine interaction and its role as a distinct and alternative communicator.Consequently,the human-machine relationship transforms into an issue of communication within alternative intelligence systems.In other words,this communication process within such systems not only refreshes our understanding of human subjectivity and experience but also constantly gives rise to new social systems,posing challenges for our understanding of the new social dynamics and interactions in the digital age.
