外文摘要:We analyzed the distribution characteristics of mercury speciation and chemical factors in sediment of National Mangrove Reserve in Zhanjiang. The results showed that Organic-bound(Hg-OXI) mercury was the most predominant speciation in both high-tide and mid-tide zones, followed by residual mercury(Hg-RES). While the other three mercury-bound forms of iron-manganese mercury(Hg-RED), water-extractable mercury(Hg-WAT), and carbonate-bound mercury(Hg-ACID), which can be converted to bioavailable speciation according to environmental changes, accounted for less than 8% at each sediment level. Correlation analysis showed that the percentages of Hg-WAT, Hg-ACID and Hg-RED were correlated with pH, TOC and SO42- in the sediments. In the view of the stable total mercury concentration in the sediments of mangrove within the study area, attention should be paid to the proportion of Hg-WAT, Hg-ACID and Hg-RED as they affect the bioavailable mercury concentrations when environment changes. ? 2023, The Authors.
