中文摘要：随着多媒体技术引进大学英语教学,传统的教学模式正面临板大的冲击.多媒体投影环境下教学效果到底如何?和传统课堂相比,有哪些优势和不足?本文介绍了湛江海洋大学利用多媒体技术辅助大学英语教学的一次探索性试验,运用建构主义学习理论和克拉申输入假说理论,提出了多媒体投影环境下的英语课堂教学模式.经过两年的教改实践,以问卷调查的形式了解学生对该模式的感受;采用SPSS统计软件,对实验组与对照组两年学业成绩进行了统计分析.结果表明,与传统课堂教学班相比,多媒体实验组的学业成绩具有持续而显著的整体优势.本文的结论是,多媒体投影教学不仅丰富了教学内容,提高了教学效率,而且大大提高了学生的英语综合能力,但还应讲究教学方法.

外文摘要：The introduction of multimedia technology into college English teaching has posed a great challenge to the traditional teaching method. What is going on with the college English teaching under the environment of multi-media overhead projector? What are the advantages and disadvantages compared with the traditional class? Reported and analyzed in this paper is an experiment of assisting college English learning and teaching with multi-media overhead projector in Zhanjiang Ocean University. According to the idea of constructivism and input hypothesis, the English Class Model with the assistance of multi-media overhead projector is proposed. It is proved that it helps enrich the teaching contents, raise the teaching and learning efficiency and improve the students' integrated skill.
