中文摘要：广东乡村社会受到城市化的冲击而发生了和正在发生着剧烈的社会变迁,这一变迁的趋势是:传统意义上的农村将不复存在,农村逐步变成城镇,农民逐步变成市民。二元结构渐趋向于解体,工农业差别日趋缩小,但农业不会因城市化和工业化而消失。目前,广东处于城市化加速期并致力于城乡一体化建设,采取许多有力措施实现城乡协调发展。

外文摘要：Under the impact of urbanization, great social changes have been taking place in the rural community of Guangdong. The trends are as follows： The traditional rural areas will cease to exist, with countryside gradually transforming into towns and farmers into townspeople. Dual structure will tend to disintegrate, and the distinction between industry and agriculture will be gradually reduced, but urbanization and industrialization cannot result in the disappearance of agriculture. Presently Guangdong is in the accelerating period of urbanization and is devoted to the construction of urban-rural integration, so a lot of effective measures are necessary for their coordinated development.
