外文摘要：The phenomenon of self-service vegetable sales in Xiecun village in Nanhai has lasted for about thirty years. The long-term maintenance of this phenomenon in a pluralistic community comes from the mechanism of acquainting strangers,which forms the supervision by public opinions in the village community and becomes a new community tradition. The trust-maintaining mechanism in a pluralistic com-munity can provide a useful reference for alleviating trust crisis in the process of social transformation.
