中文摘要：同类型的生态资源有弱势与强势之分。红树林即为热带森林群落中的弱势类型。中国的现代化进程中,导致局部地区生态问题或生态危机的三大根源是资本的统治、政治权力的膨胀与落后的观念意识。红树林具有"海岸卫士"、净化水质等重要生态价值,但是,在与政治权力、资本力量及市场力量的博弈过程中,在围海造田、围塘养殖、城市建设等利益驱动之下,中国的红树林一度面临着保有量大幅减少、生态功能严重弱化的危机。经过努力,湛江地区的红树林保护工作已初见成效。这主要缘于对生态价值的重新认识,行政力量发挥主导作用,以及对资本力量的正确引导与利用。然而,如何圆满解决经济发展与资源保护的难题,仍是艰巨的任务。

外文摘要：The same category of ecological resources can be classified as advantaged type and disadvantaged type. Mangroves are the disadvantaged type in the tropical forest community. During the course of China＇s modernization, the three main causes of local ecological problems or ecological crises are the domination of capital, the expansion of political power and the backward conception. Mangroves have important ecological values in water purification, but they-have been faced with a crisis of large reduction in amount and a serious weakening in ecological function under the interest driving of foreshore reclamation land, cage cuhure and urban construction. At present, the mangrove pro- tection in Zhanjiang has achieved initial success, which is mainly due to the reunderstanding of the ecological value, the leading role of the administrative force and the correct guidance and utilization of the capital force. However, how to solve the dilemma of economic development and resource conservation remains an arduous task.
