中文摘要:【目的】研究粤西陆架海气旋涡的基本特征及其年际变化情况,为粤西涡旋演化研究提供参考。【方法】基于卫星遥感获取的1993―2023年绝对动力地形、叶绿素a浓度数据,结合漂流浮标数据,利用统计与集成经验模态分解方法分析粤西陆架气旋涡的基本特征。【结果】每年4―9月,在粤西陆架70 m以浅的海域存在一个准定常气旋涡,其中心位置约为111.1°E,20.8°N,空间尺度约为100 km,涡旋中心的海面高度较周边海域约低0.10 m。在年际尺度上,强厄尔尼诺(1997、2016年)事件发生时,粤西陆架气旋涡振幅相对较小(约为0),在弱厄尔尼诺事件期间,该涡旋振幅相对较大(约为0.05 m)。此外,该涡旋振幅还表现出较弱的(<0.05 m)季节内变化。【结论】从遥感观测的视角给出粤西陆架海气旋涡存在的证据,气旋涡有较强的季节内、季节以及年际变化特征,强厄尔尼诺事件中气旋涡较弱。

外文摘要:【Objective】This study aims to explore the basic characteristics of the cyclonic eddy and its inter-annual variations on the western shelf of Guangdong,and provide important references for the evolution research of the cyclonic eddy evolution in western Guangdong.【Method】Based on the satellite-observed absolute dynamic topography and concentration of chlorophyll-a during the period from 1993 to 2023,the basic characteristics of the cyclonic eddy on the western shelf of Guangdong were analyzed with statistical methods and Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition(EEMD).【Result】During April to September of each year,a quasi-steady cyclonic eddy appeared in the western Guangdong shelf sea area with the depth shallower than 70 m.The center of the eddy was located at 111.1°E,20.8°N,with a diameter of about 100 km.The sea surface height in the eddy center was about 0.10 m lower than that in the surrounding sea areas.In the inter-annual scale,the amplitude of the eddy was about 0.00 m during strong El Nino(1997 and 2016),and was relatively large(about 0.05 m)during weak El Ni?o events.In addition,the eddy also presented weak intra-seasonal variation with the amplitude less than 0.05 m.【Conclusion】Based on remote sensing observations,this paper presents evidence for the existence of cyclonic eddy on the western shelf of Guangdong.These cyclonic eddies exhibit strong intra-seasonal,seasonal,and interannual variation characteristics.Moreover,the cyclonic eddies tend to be weaker during strong El Ni?o events.
