外文摘要：Tan Pingshan has made a significant historical contribution to the creation of the Guangdong Communist Party： taking ＂trendy＂ and ＂political balance＂ as positions, he propagandized the October Revolution and Socialism while he was studying at Beijing University; He also often sent ＂New Youth＂, ＂Weekly Review＂, ＂Trendy＂ and ＂Political Balance＂ and other progressive publications to his students, friends and relatives in Guangdong. He established ＂Guangdong Masses Newspaper＂ and used it to spread new ideas and new cultures; He created Guangzhou Socialism Youth League, and actively helped Chen Duxiu found the Guangdong Communist Party; He energetically launched labor movement and student movement; He was fully responsible for the work of the Party and the Youth League after Chen Duxiu left Guangzhou, at that time, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou were known as the core areas for China＇s socialist movement, there was a parlance known as ＂Southern Tan （Ping- shan）, Northern Lee （Da-zhao） and Middle Chen （Du-xiu） .
