中文摘要：在美女崇拜的社会大潮下,当今城市社会形成了一种以城市职业青年女性为主体的、以"形塑女性美、展示女性美"为主题的女性美女时尚现象。美女时尚文化的历代承袭、现代科学技术的进步及休闲社会的来临等是现代美女时尚生成的宏观社会基础与条件,美女社会建构下的女性社会分层策略的选择则是现代美女时尚生成的直接微观原因。城市社会中形形色色的美女时尚现象是青年女性挖掘身体资本、利用身体资本实现其社会地位升迁的表现形式。

外文摘要：With the rise of the beauty worship in our society,there formed a new social fashion called female beauty fashion by me in our cities in which urban professional young women are keen on"shaping female beauty and showing off female beauty".Besides some macroscopic causes for generation of beauty fashion,such as the inheritance of beauty fashion ancient culture,the development of modern technology and the advent of the leisure society,there is a direct microscopic cause,namely women's choice of social stratification strategy.All kinds of forms of beauty fashion in cities are the performances of urban young women developing and using body capital to promote their social status.
