中文摘要：人工智能是推动新质生产力形成的重要引擎。文章基于2010—2022年我国省级面板数据,运用空间面板模型、中介效应模型等考察人工智能发展对新质生产力的影响效应。研究表明:(1)人工智能发展可以有效提升新质生产力,这种提升作用在新质生产力水平较高的中东部地区更加明显。(2)人工智能发展不仅可以提高本地区的新质生产力,而且表现出空间外溢特征,对邻近地区的新质生产力也存在提升效果。(3)人工智能发展可以通过促进数字创新而间接提升新质生产力。

外文摘要：Artificial Intelligence(AI)serves as a vital engine driving the formation of new quality productivity.Based on the provincial panel data in China from 2010 to 2022,this paper employs spatial panel models and mediation effect models to examine the impact of AI development on new quality productivity.The results go as below:(1)The AI development effectively enhances new quality productivity,and this enhancing effect is more pronounced in the central and eastern regions where the level of new quality productivity is relatively higher.(2)The AI development not only elevates new quality productivity within the region,but also exhibits spatial spillover characteristics and has an improving effect on the new quality productivity of neighboring regions.(3)The development of artificial intelligence indirectly boosts new quality productivity by fostering digital innovation.
