中文摘要：1929年10月19日,朱德率领红四军从闽西进入粤东,揭开了历时13天的挺进东江事件。朱、毛之争才使得挺进东江由朱德一人指挥。在挺进东江时机的问题上,与中共中央和福建省委的看法是不一样的,准确地预判出了国民党在广东的军事力量。采取避实击虚的策略,先轻取蕉岭,再利用情报攻占梅城。通过误导敌人,率部到马图村休整。再攻梅城受挫时,主动果断撤出战斗。总结挺进东江的经验教训,为古田会议的召开奠定了思想基础。

外文摘要：On October 19,1929,Zhu De led the Fourth Army of the Red Army from the west of Fujian Province marching towards the east of Guangdong Province,marking the beginning of a 13-day march to the Dongjiang River.The dispute between Mao Zedong and Zhu De left Zhu De alone lead the march to the Dongjiang river.As for the timing issue of marching towards the Dongjiang river,quite different from that of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Fujian Provincial Party Committee,Zhu De held his own view,having accurately predicted the military strength of Kuomintang(the Nationalist Party)in Guangdong Province.Zhu De adopted the strategy of avoiding the solid and striking the weak to occupy Jiaoling first,then used the acquired information to capture Meicheng City.He also misled the enemy by leading his army to Matu Village for a break.When his army suffered a setback after failing to take over Meicheng City,he decisively withdrew his army from the battle.Zhu De summed up his experience of the march to the Dongjiang River and laid a solid foundation for the ideological basis for the Gutian Conference.
