中文摘要：《西游记》在明代心学社会思想背景下产生,其主旨就是要努力破除心中之"贼",并且通过"饥饿"叙事来加以寓言式的形象阐释。从生理学上说,"饥饿"是神经中枢的一种感觉,意味着肚子需要填饱;从精神层面上说,"饥饿"代表的是一种思想的贫乏,一种对本身性命之道的渴求。小说揭示了"饥饿"与"魔难"的因果关系,并把"饥饿"与"修心"联系在一起,其所蕴含的意义言之不尽。

外文摘要：Pilgrimage to the West produced in the ideological background of Theory of Heart in Ming Dynasty .Its purpose was to strive to break the “Darkness” in mind by allegorical interpretation of “hunger”.Physiologically , the“hunger” is a feeling of nerve center , implied the need to fill one＇s stomach;however , spiritually ,“hunger”represents the shabby ideology , and a desire to own way of life .It reveals causation between “hunger” and“tribu-lations”, and linked “hunger” with cultivating heart .
