外文摘要:The wear resistance of CoCrNi medium-entropy alloys (MEAs) is often insufficient for demanding applications. To mitigate this limitation, laser cladding (LC) was employed to fabricate CoCrNi-(WC/Nb)x composite coatings (with WC/Nb added in equal proportions, x = 0, 10, 20, 30 wt%). The results indicate that the in-situ formation of NbC, WC, and Cr3Nb3C phases is promoted by the addition of WC/Nb, thereby enhancing the coating's mechanical properties through synergistic mechanisms. The S3 coating, when x = 30, displays optimal mechanical performance, yielding a room-temperature (RT) wear rate of just 0.27 & times; 10-4 mm3/(N & sdot;m). Moreover, under high-temperature (HT) conditions at 600 degrees C, the wear rate is further reduced to 0.12 & times; 10-4 mm3/(N & sdot;m). The improved HT wear resistance arises from the synergy between enhanced oxidation and the self-healing properties of Nb, which together promote the formation of a continuous, dense oxide film. This study systematically analyzes the synergistic strengthening mechanisms of WC/Nb, establishing both an experimental foundation for ultra-high-wear-resistant MEA coatings and new perspectives on multi-component synergistic strengthening strategies.
