中文摘要：中华文明、中华文化既不“封闭”、也不“僵化”,封建王朝“重陆不轻海”“重农不抑商”。“大航海时代”中国没有缺席,郑和下西洋开启了世界大航海时代,其意义不可低估。明清不实行海禁,中国照样落伍,中国近代被动挨打是因为封建制度和农耕文明不敌资本主义和大机器武装的工业文明。从“王霸”之辨视角看,西方式的“大国崛起”在中国不可复制也不宜过分称道。要增强文化自信,“协和万邦”,发挥中华文化在构建人类命运共同体、建设人类新未来中的积极作用。

外文摘要：Chinese civilization and Chinese culture are neither closed nor rigid in nature.China's feudal dynasties"valued the land but did not underrate the sea","stressed agriculture but did not limit commerce".China was not absent from the"Age of Exploration",and"Zheng He's Grand Voyages"marked the beginning of the Age of Exploration and was of great significance.Even if the Ming and Qing Dynasties did not impose a ban on maritime trade,China would fall behind either because the feudal system and farming civilization were no match for capitalism and the industrial civilization armed with large machines.Western"rise of great powers"cannot be duplicated in China,nor should it be excessively praised.China should enhance cultural self-confidence,give full play to the role of Chinese culture in building"a community of shared future for mankind",and make contributions to building the new future for human beings.
