中文摘要:【目的】探讨PDO不同位相期间MJO对南海热带气旋生成的影响。【方法】基于热带气旋最佳路径数据集、向外长波辐射和大气再分析资料,采用高斯滤波、经验正交函数分解和合成分析等方法。【结果与结论】南海热带气旋在PDO正(负)位相期间生成较多(少);PDO正位相期间,MJO对南海热带气旋的调制作用更强,热带气旋日生成率在MJO活跃位相和非活跃位相之比达5.60,远高于PDO负位相期间的2.59。在PDO正位相期间,MJO信号在南海北部更强,使得影响热带气旋生成的各动力因子在MJO活跃和非活跃位相的差异更大,从而导致在PDO正位相期间MJO对南海热带气旋生成的调制作用更强。
外文摘要:【Objective】To investigate the impact of the MJO on the tropical cyclone(TC)genesis over the South China Sea(SCS)under different PDO phases.【Method】Based on the tropical cyclone dataset named"best track data",outgoing long-wave radiation and atmospheric reanalysis datasets,combined with the methods of Gaussian filter,empirical orthogonal function decomposition,synthesis analysis.【Result and Conclusion】More(or less)tropical cyclones formed over the South China Sea during the PDO positive(or negative)phase.In the positive PDO phase,MJO has a stronger modulation on tropical cyclone genesis over the South China Sea and the ratio of the daily genesis rate of tropical cyclones between the active and inactive phases of the MJO reaches 5.60,which is significantly higher than that in the negative phase of PDO 2.59.MJO signals are stronger in the northern SCS in the positive phase of PDO,leading to the difference of the dynamic factors affecting the genesis of tropical cyclone between the active and inactive phases of MJO are larger,resulting in the stronger modulation of MJO on tropical cyclone genesis over the South China Sea during the positive PDO phase.
