中文摘要：国粹京剧在海外的影响力并未像人们所期待的那样强。京剧的文化传播效应、国外读者和观众对京剧的兴趣与国内学者、文化工作者的努力不成正比。值得关注的是,莎士比亚戏剧在中国的全译、改译、编译以及本土化、戏曲化和现代化的多元传播,使之在中国家喻户晓的经验给京剧等文化经典的外传提供了有益的借鉴。

外文摘要：Transmission of Beijing Opera is not as popular as expected.The effect and the real contact on the target language readers or the audience are not proportional to the efforts by domestic scholars and cultural messengers,which is worthy of insight research and discussion.It is noticeable that the transmission of Shakespeare’s dramas is a case of success in China by multiple means of adaptation,modification of translation as well as localization.Dramatizing and modernizing with Chinese flavor and environment provides useful reference and reflection on the English translation of Beijing Opera.
