中文摘要：基于我国2008-2020年省际面板数据,文章探究了城镇化进程对居民消费的影响效应。研究结果表明,我国城镇化进程与居民消费水平整体呈“N型”关系,但表现出明显的地区异质性。其中,未进入城镇化高级阶段的地区,其城镇化与居民消费呈“倒U型”;已进入城镇化高级阶段的地区,其城镇化与居民消费呈“正U型”。进一步研究发现,城镇化与基本公共服务发展水平协调性的提升会有助于促进居民消费,但现阶段的城镇化扭曲了两者的协调性,从而不利于提升居民消费。对此,应进一步深化新型城镇化理念,因地制宜地制定各地区新型城镇化的推行政策,逐步形成城乡一体化发展模式,以全面提升我国居民消费水平。

外文摘要：Based on the provincial panel data from 2008 to 2020,this paper explores the impact of urbanization on residents'consumption.The results show that the whole process of urbanization and residents'consumption level is N-type.However,it shows obvious regional heterogeneity.In the regions that have not entered the advanced stage of urbanization,the urbanization and residents'consumption show an inverted Ushape.In the regions that have entered the advanced stage of urbanization,the urbanization and residents'consumption are positive U-shape.Further study finds that the improvement of coordination between urbanization and equalization of basic public services can help promote consumption,but the current urbanization distorts the coordination between the two,which is not conductive to the improvement of consumption.In this regard,the whole country should further deepen the concept of new-type urbanization,and carry out the new urbanization policy in accordance with local conditions.Moreover,a pattern of integrated urban and rural development should be formed to improve the consumption level of Chinese residents.
