外文摘要：The 11th edition of Xinhua Dictionary carries on the comprehensive revisions about the 10th edition, its quality has been improved significantly. The key point of this revision is on definition, it can be divid- ed into three aspects： supplement of semantic items, deletion of semantic items and modification of an- notations. This paper gives examples by classification and analyses the revisions of definition in the 11th edition, so as to make Xinhua Dictionary further perfect.
