外文摘要：The needs of readers of sci - tech academic periodicals were analyzed, and the countermeasures to meet the need of the readers during editing flow were discussed as well. The viewpoints were put forward as follows： Firstly, the readers＇ needs for sci - tech academic periodicals involved mainly their needs for their scientific research; Secondly, the editors of sci- tech academic periodicals should pursue the value of information when selecting manuscripts, show the most essential information in papers when editing manuscripts, and pay attention to the easiness for readers to acquire the information when arranging the papers in order that the readers acquire the maximal satisfaction.
