外文摘要：In the title mononuclear complex, [Cd(C8H7O2)(2)(H2O)(2)], the Cd-II atom possesses crystallographically imposed C-2 site symmetry, and is coordinated by four O atoms from two 4-methylbenzoate ligands and two water molecules, displaying a distorted octahedral geometry. The molecules are assembled via intermolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen-bond interactions into a supramolecular architecture.
