外文摘要：The publishing of AGeneration of Swans, a collection of novels,means a new generation of Nortliern American Chi-nese immigrant writers have appeared in public. The book contains 44 novels and their ficulty in survival, interaction with other races,compatriots’ opinions on each other,nostalgia for the motherland,and childreneducation. These novels have recorded the life of the new generation of immigrants from mainlancomplex mentality. An exploration into the themes of A Generation of Swans offers anewimmigrant writers in Northern America.
