中文摘要：对翻译学科建设和翻译理论发展的介绍与分析,提出中外翻译学研究的相互适应性。从中国传统翻译研究到西方描写译学以及其它流派对翻译学的理论体系的阐释,论证了纯翻译理论研究的超语言特性以及翻译理论对不同语言翻译实践的指导意义;从中西翻译学发展的相似经历证明了中西译论的适应性。

外文摘要：After introducing and analyzing the development of translation studies, the paper raises the question of mutual adaptability between Chinese and Western translation studies. It explores both traditional Chinese translation theoties and Western schools of translation studies, and suggests the non-language-specific character of translation theory and its significance in guiding translation practice. Similar developments in Chinese and Western translation studies also support the integrative characteristics of translation theories in China and abroad.
