In the first stage DEA model is used to evaluate port logistics efficiency with 6 years of 8 major ports data in Guangdong Province, the results show that the efficiency of port logistics in the coastal Pearl River Delta is higher than the eastern and western inland ports of Guangdong province. In the second stage, the Tobit model is used to analyze affecting factors of the efficiency of port logistics. The results show that informatization level and land transport capacity on the efficiency of port logistics has the greatest impact. So it is less affected by external factors:economic level, the level of foreign trade and the market scale,x,than by the internal factors, such as the geographical location, information capital investment, highway and railway transportation system. Finally it puts forward suggestions, such as further promoting the port cooperation, enhance the level of information, improve the land transportation system.
