中文摘要：统计了中外科技期刊英文摘要的语态分布和“头重脚轻”句的使用频率。结果表明国内作者使用被动语态、“头重脚轻”句的频率高于其他国家 (尤其是英语国家 )的作者。这是由于许多国内作者将英语科技文献和科技期刊英文摘要等同起来 ,没有意识到后者结构的特殊性 ;迷信被动语态 ;以国家标准当国际标准 ;摘要结构不规范。信息结构理论和统计数据证明了“头重脚轻”

外文摘要：The statistics of voice distribution and front-weight sentence's use frequency from English abstracts in Chinese and foreign scientific and technical periodicals indicate that Chinese authors use passive voice and front-weight sentence more frequently than foreign authors, particularly those from English-speaking countries. This is because quite many domestic authors equate scientific and technical documents in English with English abstracts in scientific and technical periodicals, unaware of the latter's uniqueness in structure; blindly believe that the effectiveness of passive voice is universal; mistake domestic standard for international standard; do not stick to the standard abstract structure. The information structure theory and the statistics prove that front-weight sentence is undesirable.
