中文摘要：文章首先探讨生成句子观和功能句子观,继而揭示英汉翻译过程中在深层结构上可以较好地把握句子的语义,但必须结合句子成分的语义功能才能更好地把握语内和语际转换的合理机制,从而提出深层结构上的动态切分翻译法。

外文摘要：Starting with a probe into the generative sentence perspective and functional sentence perspec- tive, this paper proceeds to exhibit the possibility of better comprehending sentence meanings at the deep structure in the course of translation from English into Chinese. It is, however, pointed out that the ra- tional mechanism of intralingual and interlingual transformation can be better grasped only in light of the semantic functions of sentence elements. The translation method of dynamic segmentation at the deep structure was proposed in the paper.
