外文摘要:The terminal Ediacaran period witnessed major environmental and biological turnovers, yet the mechanisms connecting these changes remain poorly constrained. Here, we present high-resolution carbonate carbon isotope (δ13Ccarb), bulk nitrogen isotope (δ15Nbulk), and biogenic silica (BSi) records from the YD-4 drill core in the Ediacaran Dengying Formation. In the aftermath of the Shuram excursion, the Shibantan Member records a coupled geochemical signal, characterized by a distinct positive δ13Ccarb excursion accompanied by a negative δ15N shift (to ? 2026, The Authors.
